Re: Fabianski v Ludo
Haha!

It's just a weird conversation to be having seeing as he's about to be out for 2-3 months.

Thr club and us as fans need to move on for now, so he's absence isn't such a negative thing. Going on about him now, won't help acheive that.

Still, i shouldn't be surprised. Common sense and logic don't exactly go hand in hand on here.

love fabianski, phil's the best I saw play for us but lukasz inspires calmness and confidence much like the big man. it's good to talk about him, fuck off sum with your hippy claptrap

Little tip.

If it is hurting you that much to talk about a football player, don't click in the link in which his name is mentioned.

This conversation has been had before.

Come on, mate. Now is not the time to be talking about Fabianski.

The question is who is better out of Fabianski and Ludo, not dwelling on him being out for 3 months.

Eerie,

Its about moving on for now, from the fact that we've lost a massively important player for 2 - 3 months.

We shouldn't dwell on it - that's all.

Re: Fabianski v Ludo
Ok, SUM.

You just let everyone know what else they can and can't talk about. Thanks in advance.

Re: Fabianski v Ludo
Fucking hell - we know he is one of the best goalkeepers around.

Why go on about him, when he's about to be out for 2 - 3 months.

Have this conversation when he's back.

We have to find a way of dealing with his absence.

Fair play mate. I don't but into this bollocks these days that a keeper's strength should be his feet, which is what the Man City keeper is about, and Pickford etc. Give me someone who doesn't make mistakes, comes for crosses, is positionally excellent and a great shot stopper. I genuinely believe that there is no one to touch Fabianski at the moment in the Prem on all those facets.

Re: Fabianski v Ludo
Green was brilliant for us, was surprised when he left for QPR. I'm 27 so don't remember Ludo, But Green and Fabianski are obviously the stand out in the last 20 years.
That 1-0 Arsenal win in 2006 was the best West Ham GK display I've seen, Greeno was unstoppable that day.

Re: Fabianski v Ludo
Did the truth ever come out why Ludo left the coaching team all those years ago?

It seemed like it was all clock and daggers stuff, and rumours around the time suggested he could have been suffering from an serious illness, but thank god that doesn't look like it was the case.

Re: Fabianski v Ludo
Having watched our keepers from Ernie Gregory through to Fabianski I reckon the Fab is a better keeper than Ludo but he is imho bettered by Phil Parkes ( the best WHU keeper for me in my time ).

I also think that were Fab English he would be a regular selection in Southgate’s full international squads.

You are right. I thought you were wrong a year ago, but I admit it. You are right. Fab is Fab!

When you see the reactions of Fabianski, then it is a different level. When you see how he dives to make a save, then it is different level.

I would not swap Fabianski for any other keeper in the Prem.

He was never going to select anyone who played after the 80's even if we had Buffon inbetween our sticks.
